Our story is a simple story of two ordinary people whose sole purpose for getting involved with GNLD initially was to get well. When that happened we realized there was more.
Robyne joined GNLD in 1991 for the sole purpose of losing weight after her girlfriend's success with the old “Trim & Slim” program. Not to be out done Robyne started the program by taking Formula IV, Multi Mins, Salmon Oil and Nourishake. As Robyne with the weight program she significantly reduced her high blood pressure. This was a problem she had experienced for over twenty years following the birth of twins. Her doctor had advised that medication would be required for the rest of her life. Six months later Robyne's blood pressure had stabilised completely and in consultation with her Doctors stopped taking her medication altogether.
At that time Robyne was living on the pension after the family mixed business and general store had been sold. She had raised her twin boys, now 34, as a single mother in her hometown of Wingham, NSW. To support her GNLD 'habit', Robyne started selling products to her friends whilst working as a very casual office assistant for Ardis Emmerton. During that time trained to become a Professional Kinesiologist and in February 1994 she achieved status of Director with GNLD.
Stanley joined GNLD in 1993 on the recommendation of Ardis Emmerton. At the time he was a Real Estate Agent in Katoomba, NSW and was suffering from extremely high blood pressure and digestive problems. He met Robyne that year at a GNLD Expo and they were married in July 1994. They spent two years together in the Real Estate office at Katoomba before returning to Wingham. Stanley now owns and operates a wheelchair taxi service in Wingham, manages the family rental properties. Robyne shares the taxi driving if needed, has a Kinesiology practice. Both work their GNLD business. Robyne, with her vast knowledge of the products, handles sales and all general inquiries and Stanley administration.
After we were married, with the consent of GNLD and our upline, Stanley's team was merged with Robyne's team. We both have been avid users of GNLD's products since day one but it wasn't until after a poor financial investment in 1997, we made them decide to become more serious about the business opportunity, to improve their finances. Robyne had built a solid customer base in Wingham and Taree and more recently their Sydney; outer West, Blue Mountains and interstate business has grown. Our personal customer user base extends to South East Queensland, the ACT, Victoria and South Australia.
In 1998, following a suggestion by Stanley's daughter, Narelle, we put their GNLD business on the Internet. Initially inquires were steadily received, until March 1999 when they received an email from Joel & Rachel Omofaye, residents of Nigeria, asking about the "GNLD Business Opportunity". Joel and Rachel purchased their first order in April 1999, achieved Directorship in August 1999, Sapphire Director and won a Gold Medal in November 1999. That team has grown rapidly in the last couple of years due to the efforts of Kenneth and Betsy Adeleke and their large team. We are so proud of Ken and Betsy, who recently achieved the level of 3 Ruby Directors.
Our story is one of persistence. We knew GNLD had the best product on the market and always knew we would one day take up the business opportunity. Our decision to never QUIT is now starting to pay off. If we can do it, you can do it.
